Some people find their rhythm. Others are born with it. For Sebastian Quintero, the beat started early. Growing up in Caracas, Venezuela, in a family where music was part of everyday life, Sebastian was making noise on pots and pans before most kids could hold a pair of sticks. By the age of two, he had his first drum kit, setting the wheels in motion for a lifelong obsession with music. Inspired by drumming heavyweights like Vinnie Colaiuta, Simon Phillips and Akira Jimbo, he developed an appetite for pushing boundaries, exploring new sounds and finding his own way behind the kit.
A move to South Florida opened up a whole new world of possibilities. Not content with just playing drums, Sebastian picked up guitar, bass and piano, eventually diving into music production too. That curiosity shaped him into the kind of musician who sees the bigger picture, bringing more to a song than just the beat. From technical precision to raw energy, his approach is all about serving the music, staying versatile and never getting too comfortable in one lane.

“Proud to play the finest drums in the world.”
That mindset has taken him a long way. From working with genre-bending artists like Emarosa, Fat Nick and Kxllswxtch to joining pop-rock favourites We The Kings in 2024, Sebastian has built a career that refuses to sit still. Different stages, different sounds, different crowds, but always the same drive to bring something real to every performance. Whether he's laying down a groove or driving a full-throttle live show, he's equally at home exploring the details or letting loose when the music calls for it.
For Sebastian, drumming has never been about following a set path. It's about staying curious, taking chances and chasing whatever comes next. From those first makeshift beats in Venezuela to stages across the touring circuit, his journey is a reminder that great music comes from keeping an open mind and never losing the excitement that got you started. With plenty of ground still to cover and new sounds to explore, Sebastian is exactly the kind of artist who keeps moving forward. No shortcuts. No standing still. Just a lifelong pursuit of the next great opportunity.
